Can you use a spring in that hose?

If you pull engine away from firewall that to me is removing the engine just my 2 cents Maybe not to some people LOL

I had vapor lock one time in 8 years 93 degree day shut down for 10 min, started up taxied down runway took off about 20 seconds later engine started to loose power backed off throttle and engine came right back to normal. Thought I was going in for a water landing at First Flight Nags Head NC.

I have a guy here who says you can do the hose job without pulling engine?? CTSW

Coiled up wire is for soft start? what about the one with the white plug connector ?

My new engine has a black wire that is coiled on top of the engine 2 wires and another with a small white plug looks like 2 wires also, where do they go a little different from the 2007 engine?

I was asking about tilting the carbs out not trying to make the carbs leaner??

Someone said to lean the carbs. out from the engine in the cold weather what is that supposed to do to make the engine run smoother? What would change in the carbs, by doing that?
