  1. What stops someone from putting these parts in a Rotax during a repair? I wonder if all the parts are identified. Yikes! I would hate to buy a plane with a mixed part engine.
  2. I am worried about the dealer bringing them in. Rotax can't go after a Chinese clone in China, but they can in the US. Not many intellectual property rights in China. I wonder how the guy gets around being sued in the US by Rotax.
  3. No idea, pilgrim. I am happy they released "Islands in the Sky" and the "The High and the Mighty", again, though.
  4. You would not happen to be a John Wayne fan? Batjac?
  5. I can't remember how much I spent, but it did not strike me as a lot to have it anodized.
  6. Why not anodize after? This would protect the cut edges, too.
  7. I thought these constant velocity or depression carbs compensated for the differences in temperature because they have the slide which varies the fuel due to mass flow through the carb throat.
  8. I know! It is crazy how someone wrote all this down so people could reference the latest knowledge. I like this better than relying on someone's memory. Could this be a reason you see so many cracked exhausts?
  9. Why is this so hard? The American Welding Society lays everything out.
  10. Sebastian, Florida and the area near the Valkaria Airport.
  11. I use XPS oil in the Rotax in my Can Am. It does not have an integrated gearbox. Personally, I would not use it because I can get the Aeroshell Sport. The XPS oil is not cheap, either.
