Anyone familiar with both the Garmin 796 and the IFly 720?

Just cuirous after looking at both of them whats the biggest difference?

Either will be my primary GPS hooked into my CT autopilot.

I will use a airgizmo mount for either.

Both have weather one you pay for and the other you buy an additional unit and get free weather....

But which one is simpliest to use, and fast with gps lock.

thanks

I owned a 700 and traded it in for a 720, and I'm a beta tester for AdventurePilot. The 720 has a bright low-glare screen.

I would say that if you're planning on keeping your data current, the iFly will be cheaper (~$80/year for VFR/IFR charts). Truth be told, I pretty much stare at my 720 during flight and use the 496 I have for watching weather.
