CT4ME Posted March 16, 2014 Report Share Posted March 16, 2014 With budgets back on track, the "Luke Days - Lightning in the Desert" airshow was this weekend. It was Awesome. 200,000+ spectators! After seeing all that action and incredible aerobatics, I always feel so humble just trying to get 'er down softly on the center line. The F-35 Lightning made it's Luke AFB public debut, with a fly-by with a P-38 Lightning: https://flic.kr/p/m5RfD1 And there was the heritage flight: https://flic.kr/p/m3URc5 The Thunderbirds, aerobatic P-51s, Ospreys, and more.
