This one was purchased by a gentleman in his 80's and rarely flown. 6 hrs on this are from me. He donated this to the War Eagles Museum in Santa Teresa, NM near El Paso. They brought it to me to bring it all up to the latest and greatest and didn't skimp on anything. It's a nice plane.

I understand the plane hasn't set for that whole time, but brings up an obvious question....  How well does the Rotax 912 stand up to long periods of non-use?  Is there a "moth-balling" procedure?  How long setting before special maintenance is required?  What does one look for in an engine that has been idle for a couple of years?

just wondering...
