Hi Kevin,

I don't think you can actually open this file and look at it. It is a file that is only loadable on the skyview.

p.s.

Your paperwork is in your plane.

They need to be unzipped. The .duc file in it is for skyview.

Corey,

The file I'm trying to open is the 6.2 t0 11x package found here: http://flightdesign.com/wordpress/?page_id=4524

I've tried both WinZip and 7-Zip, with three downloads. All fail to open with a non-valid zip file error.

Thoughts?

I am having no issues.

Make sure that ant computer security software is not inadvertently corrupting the download.

Corey and Charlie Tango:

I have now tried three machines and continue to get a "not valid archive" on my home machine or "CRC errors" when attempting to unzip at my office. I have tried multiple downloads with MS Essentials turned off. This is really bizarre. Do either of you have access to DropBox (or similar) so I can grab the 6.2 to 11.x upgrade file from you?

Thanks!

:D Kevin

Roger,

I understand that I cannot open a DUC file. I'm not getting that far. Either the zip won't open (errs out with "not a valid archive file") or when it does start to unzip the file, I get CRC errors.

Some of us went LS because we could do things ourselves. I am in the midst of a hose change. Why? Because I know I can. Is it easy, no. Because it is cheap, no. Will I know more about my plane because I do things myself, yes.
