Runtoeat
I ran across this service instruction on the Rotax website. Not sure if this is generally known by owners? I've wondered why Rotax required owners to change the silicon gas lines for the 5 year. These are pretty much lifetime parts. Looks like this SI give authorization to not replace these hoses for the 5 year. My CTSW doesn't have these so this pertains to CTLS and CTLSi only. SI is attached. si-912-022.pdf
Roger Lee
That SI is old. It is superseded by one that puts it on condition.
Runtoeat
Thanks Roger. Interesting that this SI is superceeded. I got the one I published off of the Rotax website today. Do you have the latest SI number?
Roger Lee
I misread your post. Rotax did want the Teflon hoses replaced at 5 years. That SI-912-022 made them on condition.
