FastEddieB
These are really nothing special, but we were at Copperhill with the grandkids (too young to fly yet) and Karen video'd these landings with my iPhone. I think these are among the first I've seen taken from outside of the plane. The wind was spilling over those trees to the left of the runway, making it a bit gusty. Which is my excuse for the little bounce on the first one!
Cluemeister
Nice job! I think that's such a great little airport.
Flying Bozo
Sure can't do that good in a CT. Has a definite tendency to flop on the nose wheel almost immediately after the mains touch. Even with full up elevator. Larry
coppercity
Even heard the dog commenting in the background, not sure what he said though.
FastEddieB
Even heard the dog commenting in the background, not sure what he said though. I think he might be a pessimist, and was anticipating a ruff landing!
Scott Lee
I think he might be a pessimist, and was anticipating a ruff landing! Collective groan, very punny. Reminds me of the far side cartoon where a guy had created a device to translate a dog's bark and the translation as the dog barked was "hey! hey! hey!" Anticept
I think he might be a pessimist, and was anticipating a ruff landing! If you aren't a dad yet, you are now. I refer to these as "dad jokes", and the more dad-ly they are, the funnier the reaction. Even young daughters can be dad-ified if they pitch a doozy of a dad joke.
