Fly Boss
860LS's pin on the oil inspection door has simply worn down to the point where the door doesn't stay closed anymore. Quite a lot of banging goes on when the engine is running. FD doesn't have these pins or the clasp on the door in stock. I found a source in Florida that is supplying the exact items (from Germany) that ship on the CT aircraft. This link provides information: http://ctflier.com/index.php?/gallery/image/390-oil-inspection-door-closer-and-pin/ Should you need a new pin or clasp, here is your chance for a simple inexpensive fix. Doug G.
I did this a couple of years ago and still have to really pull to get it open.
