Do you travel with a cover?

If you are taking a week long trip, do you cover your CT while it's sitting on the ramp?

Is it worth bringing a cover along with you, or is it not worth carrying the extra weight and losing storage room.

Thanks

I have the cover Rger mentioned. It's great, but not a "quick on/off" cover, it takes a few minutes. it weighs about 7 pounds, and I leave it in the passenger baggage compartment. I think I have only used it three times. I occasionally pull it out if I need to reclaim the weight and don't anticipate having to leave the airplane out in adverse weather. I don't mind leaving the airplane out a night or two if the weather is fair, but some folks insist on always covering.

This brings up a question. On cross country flying can you usually arrange hangered night storage? Makes me nervous with hail and thunderstorms coming up. I'll be going to Rochester Mn and Salt Lake area a lot this spring and summer.

It never hurts to ask.  Call the airport before you leave and ask.  It seems to be about 50/50 in my experience.  But every time I have ever *really* needed it, somebody has stepped up and found me some space, even without calling ahead (weather diversions).
