knolde Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Nancy and I saw between 165 and 177 at 9500, OAT 40F W/V 300/105 between Pecos and east of Ft. Stockton TS, 29 Oct 2010 as we were returning from the Page flyin and visiting relatives in San Diego. We left Demming, NM on 29 Oct at 0805 lcl and the winds were already blowing. We thought we were in a Cirrus. The return from San Diego to Pensacola averaged 145kts--we even saw 60+ kt winds at 3500 in east Texas.
