  1. What a beauty! Can't wait to get ours!
  2. Pretty sure I have one I can part with. That was a heck of a storm! I passed thru there in a Cirrus just a couple hours before.
  3. The eprop is only about 4.4 lbs total while the Neuform is around 13 lbs.
  4. Love the 3 blade eprops we have on our CTs! We have accumulated almost a 1000hrs between the two installed on our school CTLS's with no issues. Great performance, light weight, and smooth.
  5. Side slips (for crosswind correction) and forward slips (increased descent rate) can be performed with the CT at any flap setting. There is a bit of tail blanking with full flaps using a full rudder forward slip. Not dangerous as it is subtle, but you might notice a slight pitch oscillation when it occurs and is easily remedied with a reduction in rudder and pitch down motion. I have not noticed it at 30 deg or less flap settings.
  6. Our new CT Super Sport injected has a more simplified fuel system compared to the CTLSi. There is no longer a header tank, fuel is returned to the selected fuel tank, the fuel selector control is now located just aft the throttle quadrant. Fuel pumps are on the engine side of the firewall where the start battery normally is, and the gascolator is back where it originally was on the carb engines. With this configuration it might be possible to retro a 912is a little easier. Eric
  7. Both of mine are set to about 28.2 deg. I see around 5670 static, 5200-5300 during climbs at Vy, and 5500 at WOT 7500' Pressure altitude. Our field elevation is 5000MSL with Density altitudes of 8000-9000' as a reference.
  8. Hi Tom, Happy to help out if you are still in need. Regards Eric
  9. From the time I got to spend in the prototype this summer it will certainly be a great VFR trainer as well as a solid IFR training platform in the part 23 version!
  10. Very nice! Congratulations!
  11. Yes!, ours starts production next month! We also had access to the prototype for a month and put a good number of flight hours in it.
