  1. We are still hoping to make it. Lee&Chris
  2. I'll be following any progress you share, good luck. One question, when ordering parts from Lockwood did you have to be specific or just tell them what airplane you were working on? Thanks Lee
  3. Todd, I looked into doing this and didn't find any real downsides. I think at this point in your airplanes life the resale would be similar and I found the insurance the same. Don't forget you could not only do the maintenance but the inspections too, with the 16hr course. That being said I did not proceed as I am an LSRM and was considered it only for modifications. Also I'm in an RV12 but that shouldn't change your experience. The Scottsdale FSDO can facilitate the change. Lee
  4. As will Lee and Chris, looking forward to the Bryce add on. Thanks Admin!
  5. Congratulations! You got a good one. Lee (RV12)
  6. Great pictures of a great gathering, many thanks to the organizers and "tour" guides who all did a splendid job. My fourth time and planning on many more. The organizers did such a fantastic job I had tail winds and smooth air both going and returning from KPGA!
  7. I've been searching for Mogas in the area and found some at Cal Black which is a great stop but is 88 octane, in Hurricane Ut (General Dick Stout Field) there is 91 octane etoh free for $3.86. Might be fun to stop in Hurricane after Bryce/Zion outing.
  8. Just curious, what’s the head/airplane count. I am really looking forward to another fantastic flying adventure!
  9. Another trip of a lifetime for these boys, who know how to do it right! Looking forward to trip reports and pics.
  10. I've been searching CPS for some spark plug heat transfer paste and found this, part number 09-37450its only $16 for a one ounce tube and the only other option on CPS right now is the $166 tube. The person on the phone at CPS said it was ok to use but I thought I'd query the forum first....especially looking for Roger's input. What do you think? Thanks
  11. Congratulations, let the learning begin!!!!!! It'll be one of those days in your life you'll never forget.
  12. Torsten, I think others have signed up directly with John, at least that's what I did. I'm going again in my RV-12, it'll be nice to have another low wing, great flying and great group. Lee
