  1. My nosewheel bearings could use replacement. Matco 5” wheel. Do they have to be pressed in and out or can I use my “hammer press” and a big dowel?
  2. I don't know. I tried to document everything photographically, but I did not get a straight on pic of the front of the aircraft. But, if it was damaged at the time of the Arizona landing, it should have been repaired/ replaced along with the rest of the damage.
  3. Andy, I bent the original mount during a very hard landing while flying home from Arizona last Fall. Cracked the firewall. The airplane was trailered to repair facility from Arizona.
  4. This is best straight on view I have prior to install of new motor mount.
  5. This photo was taken soon after I received the aircraft back from being repaired.
  6. I am going to pull the fork and axle this weekend. I will check again for noises during taxi. Surprisingly, It seems to track straight when taxiing.
  7. Last fall I had a new motor mount installed on my 2011 CTLS. After I took delivery of the aircraft from the repair facility I noticed the nosewheel looked canted from left to right (face-on view). I called the repair facility who informed me that “some CT’s are just like that.” Now that I have flown the aircraft for a few months I pulled the nosewheel fairing to look things over completely. The tire was worn very unevenly to the point of needing replacement. My question to the forum is: Is this simply a tire wear issue or are there other safety aspects to this?
  8. I upgraded the panel in my (experimental) 2011 CTLS. Garmin 650 with G5 backup, Dynon autopilot. I love the autopilot features. Plan to do my instrument training in it.
  9. At least the writer didn’t use the word “cute” to describe it...
  10. My Rotax 912 ULS (2011 CTLS) is losing coolant, but it is not leaking out on the floor and none shows up on the inside of the cowling or on the firewall. ??? I have refilled the reservoir twice in the past month (approximately 20 hours of flying).
  11. Yes, but mine is not the same as yours. It is a digiflight II with vertical speed control. I can send you some pictures if still interested.
  12. Removed from 2010 CTLS. Worked perfectly when removed in Mid-March 2021. First reasonable offer takes it.
  13. From 2010 CTLS. Worked perfectly when removed in Mid-March 2021. First reasonable offer takes it.
  14. I have my trutrak head and servos available now if you want it.
  15. I have the 696 from my 2011 CTLS if you are still interested in purchasing one.
  16. Call John Pence in Tulsa. 417.844.3152. Delivers lots of CTs for Airtime. Great CT pilot. Great guy. Reasonable prices. Im sure he would arrange a dual flight home with you.
  17. I am doing a panel upgrade on March 15 and will have a 696 available then. Been in my 2011 CTLS since new.
  18. Could someone direct me to a resource that lists fbo’s around the country that sell 91 octane? As far as I can see ForeFlight only lists Jet A and 100LL. Thanks.
  19. I am doing a panel upgrade and will have a Trutrak head available by the end of March, if that is any help.
