kentuckynet
I hated my seatbelts! Now they are just wonderful, now you have that snug warm feeling. Give me a warm blanket and turn on the AP and ill be asleep in no time. All joking aside until you sit in my ct and strap in you just have no idea. I sent my Ct's seatbelts to Hooker and they called and told me that they see this type of quality over and over as they are no standards where these are made. Hooker made an exact set from the original, they stay put. I had them add the crotch strap and WOW! I may start doing aecrobatics now but sometimes when i hit turbulence i already had. I would assume they kept all the measurements for anyone else who gets tired of theres falling off on every takeoff and landing. Also i would like to thank my friend Bob Corey for making me some plugs for the holes that i use to put that ugly scotch tape over..no more drafts and they look great. Jim
How much did they cost? The wife is constantly complaining about them....
kentuckynet
They were not checp but they are really nice! $515.00 including shipping, maybe there wouldnt be any setup fee now that they have done a set.
NC Bill
Mack - I just called and per pair they are $400 for 4-point and $500 for the 5-point plus shipping. I'm away from the hangar and never looked at the attachments - what all is involved with just replacing the 4-point?
FredG
Nice belts. BTW, what are the plugs made of? Thanks. Fred
kentuckynet
thanks, the 4 point is simple! Just unbolt yours 8 screws pull the brackes off slide them into your new set and bolt them back on. the additional point is a little tougher. The plugs are made from floor matting and plexiglass mack
Runtoeat
Mack, as most other CT owners, I've given up trying to keep my seat belts positioned and tensioned. Now I know how to fix this problem! Thanks for posting the pictures and providing a contact at Hooker.
kentuckynet
Runtoeat, youre welcome. I was really proud of these belts. When you sit down and fasten all 5 points its amazing how connected to the aircraft you feel. Now in turbulence its a totally different feeling! FredG
Does FD need to approve the belt/harness replacement?

Roger Lee
Hi FredG, Yes, you would need an LOA as an SLSA, but Mack is an ELSA.
