FIRST JUBILEE EDITIONS ARRIVE

Limited-Edition CTLSi Model Engages Light-Sport Customers

 

South Woodstock, CONN. / November 18, 2013 — When Jubilee was offered by German Light-Sport Aircraft

 

producer Flight Design, they announced it would be a limited run. Jubilee Edition was endowed with distinctive

 

set of options and special exterior decor. Only 25 would be built to commemorate the company’s 25th anniversary.

 

All 25 were sold shortly after the announcement.

 

 

spacer.gifMore of the early Jubilee Edition aircraft arrived at Flight Design USA, Flight Design’s representative and

 

importer for North America. “We received additional factory-fresh CTLSi Jubilee Edition models at our

 

Woodstock base,” said Tom Peghiny, President of Flight Design USA. “They are being assembled and inspected

 

by our technical staff to prepare them for the first customer deliveries.”

exhibited an advanced state of manufacturing quality,” reported John Gilmore, National Sales Director for Flight

 

Design USA. “Once the assembly and FAA acceptance process is complete they will be join the fleet of almost

 

400 CT variations in the field.” For eight years, the company has held its market leading position.

offered 25 specially configured CTLSi aircraft with distinctive paint and trim packages and all the most popular

 

options. Those planes sold out rapidly and no more would be produced. With all Jubilee Edition aircraft taken by

 

customers, demand lead to the introduction of an Americas Edition with a uniquely American special paint and

 

accent package. Americas Edition aircraft are priced at $167,700. Each is superbly equipped with the newest

 

digital instruments and features and all come with a full three-year warranty. Peghiny added. “We believe

 

customers will find our Americas Edition aircraft to be highly appealing.”

More Jubilee's Arrive

We received these factory new CTLSi "Jubilee Editions" at Woodstock. They are being reassembled by our staff for customer delivery. according to Dave Armando, Director of Maintenance, the planes were in great shape and once the reassembly and certification is complete they will be off to join the fleet of almost 400 CT's in the field.

The Jubilee program offered 25 specially configured CTLSi's with distinctive paint and trim packages with our most popular options.

Those planes sold out in a matter of months leading to the introduction of the Americas' Version which was similarly configured. All of the Jubilee aircraft have been taken by customers but Americas Versions are available at $167,700.

All come with a full 3 year warranty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

AOPA Farewell

Ft. Worth is slated to be the last AOPA Summit. We had a CTLSi on display at Meacham Field. Very few LSA companies displayed We had a perfect position at the main entrance. Good crowds and nice weather all made for a great end of year show. We are staging now for the first event of 2014 at Sebring LSA expo in Florida on January 16-19.

Echo Flight Resources and Airtime Aviation teamed up to win a new contract for a Public Use CTLE the final details are completed and the next step is to configure. This is one area where the CT's excellent utility and economics gives us an advantage over conventionally certified aircraft.
