Roger Lee Posted September 18, 2010 Report Share Posted September 18, 2010 Hi All, Here is the correct location for the EGT probes in the exhaust pipe. It is 100mm or 3.93 " from the exhaust outlet on the head. I have seen a few that must have been installed after they came into the US and were either too close or too far away from the correct location. This has a serious effect on the correct EGT's. Located anywhere, but where they are supposed to be and your EGT temps are trashed. If they happen to be in the wrong place this is an easy fix.
