I should know, having made this same mistake. don’t see any problem with that. all the flap info is already in the ‘Download section’ .on top of this page
John Vance
OK, if FD has provided an agreement in writing that it can be publicly disclosed, there’s no problem. If not, then just being in the ‘download section’ does not make it legal.
Runtoeat
Hi John. Something I hadn't thought of....I'm sure that no one has copied this though........
Jacques
well..as for the flaps wiring, it is in the Maintenance Manual...which is on FDUSA web site....so http://documents.flightdesignusa.com/20090101 - CTSW LSA - MM rev. 7 - AU 010 02000_7.pdf section 4.3.2.6.
John Vance
The reason I mentioned it is that I once posted a drawing to ctflier showing the FD drawing for installation of the GPS antenna for ADS-B and got called on it, and rightfully so. Arian provided it to me free of charge, so I figured it was OK but it had the same note at the bottom of the drawing, which I missed. Maybe this case is different if it’s in the maintenance manual. I’m all for free flow of info but don’t want to see anyone get sued for a copyright violation. Merry Christmas everyone!
ls6pilot
How much does a new mt-16 board cost?
Snoopyeagle
In the UK I recently purchased one for £ 400.00 if that gives you an idea as everything over here seems to cost more the USA
Isham
I am having issues with my 2007 CTsw. I started removing the board on the firewall to check it for cracks but need some advise. Are the wires on the board to the white connector required to be removed individually or is the white plastic part with screws actually a connector that will pull off of the pins on the board? The holes for all the wire screws are filled with something making it nearly impossible to remove each wire from the connector. If it is not a connector I did not want to further damage the board by trying to pry it off.
Snoopyeagle
On mine I disconnected each cable individually, I don’t remember anything covering the screw, it was a fairly straight forward process of just unscrew pull cable out and push cables into new board and tighten the screws

Isham
Thanks for the photo and reply. That looks like mine, except they coated the top of the screws with silicone or something. Whatever it is it's almost impossible to dig out to get to the tiny slotted screw head. The other thing I don't understand is why they used screws and nuts to hold this on the firewall. A rivnut would have been so much easier.
Snoopyeagle
Yes they don’t make it easy , looking at the photo it does look like there was silicon or something I had to dig out, I installed an new board and have had no problems since. Snoopyeagle
Here in the UK I paid £400 but we find everything in USA is generally cheaper.
ADAM Alain
Hello My flaps seem to work normally but when I put them on -12 ° the flight becomes asymmetrical and the ball goes to the left. It takes a significant effort on the rudder to bring it back to the middle. Alain
