Ian
Everyone likes looking at pictures of planes - right? Here are a few from a fly-in I went to on Saturday - an airfield called Castle Kennedy in the Scottish borders, very aristocratic, owned by the Earl of Stair ! I'll just post the pictures - if any are unfamiliar to you let me know & I'll tell you what they are - ps if anyone can name the twin without googling I'll be mega-impressed - it was certainly new to me!! I'm sure you all recognise this one: And of course EVERYONE knows this: And here's my baby Tundra Tyres anyone? I hope that passed a pleasant few minutes...... CT4ME
I'm not sure how I'd even go about describing this... High-winged, low-engined, twin??? That thing needs to be in the next Disney Planes movie, along with the CT.

Anticept
Oh my god I love that twin. Where do I buy one? EDIT: The closest thing I can find to that configuration is a Dornier Do 28, but this thing looks so much smaller... Edit 2: Yup it's a 28. N123CA. Still want! Anticept
Yeah especially since it's twin 540s, a moderately expensive engine.
Ian
Corey gets the prize - it is a Dornier DO28, one of only 2 flying in Europe. I spoke to the pilot & he told me that it burns about 21 gallons/hour (and that's proper Imperial gallons!!) The aircraft is based at Old Warden in the south of England which is home to the Shuttleworth Collection - worth a browse http://www.shuttleworth.org
Rich
lan, Very nice to see GA planes from beyond the pond. Good to see a Sting S3 in the mix. It's the predecessor to my S4. Thanks for posting.
