FlyingMonkey
Today I went to Brasstown, NC to a Highlander oriented fly-in. It was held at a small 2200ft private grass strip in the mountains. Quite a fun place I have been to a few times. I landed a little long, but it was otherwise decent:
Runtoeat
Andy, you might have landed a little long but you sure greased it in. Nice landing. How were the temps? It's been extremely hot here in Michigan.

It's been extremely hot here in Michigan. It was only 82°F, but humidity was high and it felt much warmer. Easily felt like 90°F.
FastEddieB
I think Karen and I are headed over in the Sky Arrow around 11A today.
FlyingMonkey
Here's the takeoff. I always do a soft field takeoff from grass to save wear on the nose gear. I usually level off and build a little speed before climbing out, but in this case the airplane started climbing immediately so I just let it. There is rising terrain ahead, so we made a left turn out. There's a ridge there that you can either climb over or turn parallel to. I have climbed over it when solo, but this day with two up at midday, turning parallel seemed prudent.
Anticept
Hey Andy, over the next 2-3 years, do you want a D-120 EMS? I am thinking of switching to skyview.
FastEddieB
Things were winding down a bit today... Karen says size still matters! I can imagine a cartoon Just SuperSTOL pointing and laughing at a CT with 6" tires and saying, "HAHAHAHAHA! You call those tundra tires!!!" (In its best Crocodile Dundee accent!) But tell me I don't look right for one of these puppies: Flying back we flew over the new casino in Murphy that's due to open soon: I hate gambling, but it is bringing a lot of jobs and money into this rather depressed area of NC. Hope the good outweighs the bad.

Definitely interested! PM me the details and what you want for it.
Anticept
It's going to be a while before we get to that point. I'm just finding out if you were interested You'll probably want the HS-34 too. Even if you don't have nav equipment, it will still interface with the GPS and provide options for expansion later.
