Duane Jefts Posted December 4, 2015 Report Share Posted December 4, 2015 Hey, Duane Jefts. Remember the Coast Guard ship that was ON STATION halfway to HNL ? Can't remember the name of the station, but we used to let the flight attendants talk to the sailors onboard, and make a date to meet them the next time they were on leave in HNL. Yeah, I remember the navigator's periscope sticking out the top of the DC-8 RET 1995 Ocean Station November on the pacific side. The flight attendants ( stewardess) back in those days were a little different than the group now. That must have been fun for them and the guys. My sextant was sticking out the top of a C-130 and HU 16E. Flew that old seaplane from Puerto Rico to Japan and all points in between. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
