gbigs
This thread is full of fun and fanciful advise to a kid who says he is PPL student pilot and his dad wants to buy him a used SR20 if/when he finishes his training. The kid has been 'brainwashed' into thinking a chute is a toy, and a Cirrus is a 'plastic airplane' not worthy to sit on the ramp with the metal/rivet Cessna 172s. http://www.pilotsofamerica.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88499
andyb
So much misinformation on this guy's part, I wouldn't know where to start. People routinely train successfully in SR20's and SR22's.\ Parachute helpful in many situations, many of which index high for low-time pilots.
