I found a ten year report that the FAA put out detailing the safety of LSA over a ten year period, 2004-2014. I found it very interesting. It's broken down by aircraft brand and category, and type of incidents/accidents. gbigs Posted December 17, 2015 Report Share Posted December 17, 2015 Cursory reading tells me there are a lot of pilots over 60 flying LSA. Flight Design and Cub Crafters sell more planes than all others combined hence are involved in the most accidents. Flight Design has the least fatal accidents despite being involved in the most accidents overall. An interesting testament to how robustly they are built.
