Duane Jefts
Canada does get in the way of flying overland to Alaska. When the farmer and I flew to Alaska last summer, we overflew Canada. The flight from Friday Harbor Washington to Ketchikan Alaska was well within the capabilities of the CT. The fuel injected model could have even continued on to Juneau Alaska. You do have to pick your day for winds and weather but we came back the same route. The coastline was spectacular and we were never outside gliding distance of a safe area to parachute into. Love that BRS backup. See "Alaska 2014" on this forum for details of Canadian overflight.
