bmar
Can you taxi with the doors open in the CTLS? Is this okay or hard on the doors at a normal taxi speed.
Roger Lee
Most in AZ do it all the time. Won't hurt a thing.
FlyingMonkey
Always in the Summer time, sometimes before I'm off the runway.
Tom Baker
Same here in Illinois. I do make sure they are secure for run up though.

The only time I got bitten by that was (of course) when I was giving Fast Eddie a demo flight. I ran through the pre-takeoff checklist, and we were chatting a bit, and I added some power to taxi onto the runway. My door immediately popped open an inch or two. I quickly latched it and said "I guess I should close that", quite embarrassed. Eddie was a good sport and didn't immediately say "let me out here please". We ended up having a good flight after that.
