Wireless Hangar Door opener

Be real careful with that. Never ever just pull the airplane half out of the hangar. There was a fellow from Colorado with a CTLS who was learning his new GPS. He pulled his airplane out of the hangar to get a GPS signal. While messing with the GPS he accidently hit the button on his remote. The hangar door cut the airplane in half.

Tom it's funny you say that because I was concerned about exactly that. I ended up mounting the controller on the crossbeam overhead with a bit of double sided tape just to avoid any chance of bumping it inadvertently.

I cannot imagine watching my plane get split in half by a door; that must have been a horrible experience for that person.

I'm sure it was. On the bright side they shipped a new tail section and a tech from Germany came over and fixed the airplane. I heard you couldn't even tell there had been an issue.
