I always optimized for best speed at a high (above 10,000) altitude. To change for a single flight doesn't make sense to me in fact now I use a single setting year round. Without the summertime adjustment I give up 3-4 knots. My best speeds ever during the year are 127kts TAS and worst speeds are 119kts TAS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
