iaw4 Posted November 21, 2018 Report Share Posted November 21, 2018 I thought I would share this information. Apparently, LP Aero is the designated replacement windshield maker for the CTSW. They have a version of their windshield that offers more protection: "This is the 7220A windshield in UV/Infrared Blocking Solar Gray Tint. Your cost will be $1590.00 plus packing and shipping." Of course, the protection is less important for a high-wing than a low-wing airplane. I believe that the installation is quite difficult, though---costing on the order of $2k-$3k. So, if I ever have a windshield strike, this will be my replacement.
