UCFKnight1039
Hello All- I have had this happen 3 times now in about 10 flights. Have any of you experienced this? If so, what was the cause? Thanks, Gary

SportFlyer1
Indeed, that says "My motherboard doesn't feel good."
ODowneyEng
I would be very curious as to what Dynon has to say. In the interest of safety I like to have at minimum a separate Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature gauge. Good to have when the pretty electronics go kaput. Easy to install. UCFKnight1039
Heard from Dynon today. I am told it will need to be removed from the aircraft and shipped to them for diagnosis and repair. It may be a few weeks before I can get that done, but I will circle back with details once it is complete. thanks, Gary
ctfarmer
I had a similar intermittent problem. Dynon are very good with their service which i could not fault. You will almost certainly lose all the settings in the unit which is a bit of a pain to reset to the same as you had.
WmInce
10 hours ago, ctfarmer said: You will almost certainly lose all the settings in the unit . . . . . Not necessarily. Ideally, an owner should have made a copy of the settings file, after any firmware upgrade. That file could be reloaded after a repair or replacement. If that did not happen after firmware upgrading, then . . if the owner can access the settings page (buttons 7 and 8 simultaneously), he/she can copy the current settings file. If the settings page is not accessible, then Dynon may be able to copy the settings file at their shop, then reload that file to the repaired/replaced unit. That is not guaranteed, but they have more powerful software tools to deal with anomalies. When Dynon does perform a repair, every attempt is made to preserve settings and data on the unit. That has been my experience whenever I sent a unit to them.
tennesseect
My 2007 CTsw had an intermittent problem last month with certain display data dropping out. Sent both units to Dynon. They replaced a chip and updated my firmware. The problem was fixed without losing any settings for $469.
