TheFrisco
By looking at this pic on far left, what AP does this plane have? Alt hold only or 2 axis? Says CT Pilot! Thanks for answering even the "dumb questions"
Tom Baker
It is a TruTrak. The factory installations call it a CT Pilot. TruTrak calls it a Digiflight IIÂ VS. It is a very capable AP.

okent
That's what I have and love it. There has been some discussion about the capability for it to fly an approach (without vertical control) but I haven't done much more than follow a straight line. I calculate when I need to start descending to reach pattern altitude and just dial in my fps. It requires me to watch my altitude and adjust when I hit my target but it's been very useful. FlyingMonkey
I have a II VS in the round form factor. I love it and it holds heading and altitude extremely well. You used to be able to trade it in to TruTrak for about $900 and get their Vizion model, which adds altitude pre-select and a few other features. So far I have not felt the need, and not sure if that offer still stands now that TruTrack was bought by Honeywell. okent
I checked into getting the Vision model so I could have the blue level button. Can't remember the reason why now but I checked it off my list.
