Garrett Gee Posted November 23, 2019 Report Share Posted November 23, 2019 Saw this email this morning. My CTLS (10-02-08) ), which is included in the notice, had the proper clearances. Reason: Some CTLS are equipped with a larger sealed lead acid battery. This requires a different location of the starter solenoid. Under certain unfavorable combination of tolerances, contact of the starter solenoid may contact the throttle cable housing, which in return gets worn through over time.
