procharger Posted February 5, 2020 Report Share Posted February 5, 2020 Took out chute and changed the rocket, came in two boxes of course, assembly was fairly easy, its a unique setup when you have to twist the can to install the 6 inch long key very cool piece of engineering. Well, if you read my recent post you'll see that BRS is raising prices on the repack + rocket at about 25% per year, so it's only a matter of time before we're paying Cirrus prices... Unless they are raising Cirrus prices at the same rate, then the price difference would be expanding. On a different note I know a flight school who posted about a 24% increase in insurance premiums at renewal this year. If their insurance went up in a similar fashion I can understand at least part of the increase. I also know they had some issues with the rocket kits about a year ago, which caused a little bit of redesign. It may actually be costing them more for production parts for the rocket.
