Skyview Touch B/U Battery Location - CTLSi

Finally did my B/U Battery tests today on the twin Dynons. One Dynon failed. I looked behind both Dynons and cannot find the backup battery packs.

Any idea where they are? Maybe I'm just overlooking it...

First, trust the grid is coming back on line down there... awful misery.

second, I’ve attached a pic I found on the net, I think I remember seeing these units in my setup.  If so, easy to replace.  Strongly suggest you call Dynon.  Once on the phone, they are super helpful and won’t leave you hanging.  I dealt with them at the height of Covid when they were working from home... it took a bit to respond but the advice was high quality.

mine were both located behind the pilot screen tucked way forward and lateral.  Sorry, no pic.

Correctamundo! I went out this morning with better lighting and more time and located them. However, getting them is kind of a PITA!

Agreed.  Nothing against engineers but I think they should be required to assemble and service what they design!
