Hey all...

The stiff plastic gap seal strip on the underside of the stab on my CTSW seems to have broken off about 5 inches of the end on the right side.  Does anybody know a source for a replacement?  I'd prefer an aftermarket source to FD pricing if possible.

Maybe something like this?

Hi Andy,

Use tha same 1" wide Bolus tape that you use for the wing gap. It's from Cumulus Soaring.

I've been using it on the upper and lower stab gaps since 2007. Works just fine. When you put the top side tape on put the stab all the way down. When you put the bottom strip on lift the stab all the way up. This way when in normal use you never stretch or tear the tape.

Thanks Roger.  Since I have the tape I think I'll try that first, if it doesn't work the way I want it to I can always buy the Mylar stuff.
