GrassStripFlyBoy
Since I've owned my CT both the studs on the #4 cyl loosen over time, I ordered loctite 648 and some new studs. Remove the old studs tonight, would appreciate some instruction on installing the new studs. Thinking I'd need to jam a couple nuts on the exposed side, run the stud home, then unjam the two nuts? Is there a torque value on these - didn't see anything in the MM, probably more of a heavy maintenance book thing? And thanks.
Roger Lee
Apply Loctite 648 and tighten to 8 Nm (71 in.lb). The longer threaded end (23 mm) (0.9 in.) to be screwed into cylinder head.
