Skunkworks85
During the renewal for my CTSW ( btw, went down this year!) My broker from AIR, mentioned that they have a client with an F2, that many insurance companies will not quote the aircraft and the one that responded came back with a $15k premium on a $210k hull value. Seeing if there was anyone else out there with that experience.
GrassStripFlyBoy
$15k on $210 hull is at least double of what a hull value multiplier should work out, that's strange.

Could it have also had something to do with the client's age in combination with it being a new airplane?
Tom Baker
Considering it is a new airplane with no history, I can understand why. That is only 7% of the value. When I had my J3 Cub on my commercial policy it was 10% of the value to insure it. This last year my Warrior was almost 20% for a commercial policy.
