Big Flapper
I have had my CTLS for 1 1/2 years now and I was wondering if the Amps reading that I get are "normal" for this airplane. The attached video is at idle on the ground but is typical for what i Amps.MOV
Anticept
Ammeter indications on dynon D series units and rotax engines are unreliable and are extremely difficult to use to identify issues. The voltage regulators are extremely electrically noisy, though that can be compensated for a little bit with the installation of a much larger filtering capacitor such as Kemet ALS40A104KF025 Your voltmeter indication is normal, and that is reliable. If you want to be sure, condition check the battery.
