Amazonjet
If you had a run-away flap it would be handy to pull the flap fuse/breaker. Or, cycle it to get to a flap setting you want. I have on the center counsel a black thing placarded “flap fuse”. I have fiddled with it and can’t figure out how it works. Does it pop up if blown. Can you manually disconnect it? Tom Baker
It will pop if the current is to high. The should stop when the hit the microswitch, but there is also a cable to limit flap deflection.

I have a big black button on mine marked "Flaps Breaker".
Anticept
On mine, it can't be manually toggled. Where is cable to limit the flap deflection?

It must be in the baggage bay attached to the flap tube that the flaps slot into. At least on an SW, the flaps drop 90° when they come out of the tube, so it can't be attached to the flaps themselves in the wings.
Tom Baker
It may just be CTSW. It is shown in the parts manual.
FredG
On my 2006 CTsw, the cable that limits reflex (negative) flap travel is above the flap linear actuator. I am not aware of any cable for limiting flap deployment (i.e., downward or positive flap angle).
