Al Downs
Getting High current alarms mostly in take off climb but sometimes also in landing. Tightened all grounds but no change. It is intermittent but often enough to be a pain. Anyone experienced this and figured it out?
Tom Baker
Check the two yellow wires where they connect to the voltage regulator. Clean them and the terminals and put some dielectric grease on them before putting them back together.
Roger Lee
Go to the shunt. Disconnect each of the 4 wires. Scotchbrite each wire end and apply a dab of dielectric grease. That should take care of it. p.s. Do check the capacitor connection as Odowneyeng suggest.
ODowneyEng
I had same problem. Went blue in the face trying many suggestions to no avail. Replaced puny little Capacitor with a proper 100,000 micro Capacitor. Problem solved. They are cheap enough.
