Anticept Posted July 20 Report Share Posted July 20 Years ago, an A&P instructor of mine recalled a cessna coming into the shop that had issues with tanks draining asymmetrically. There's almost always a little difference, but this was considerable. Someone did logbook research and noticed a while before, the Airspeed indicator was replaced. That's above the turn coordinator. So they checked for alignment, the TC was out of alignment, so the pilot was actually flying out of coordination. Fixing the alignment fixed their fuel issue.
