EricB
I would swear I saw something that talked about a new "dual tip" spark plug for Rotax (seemed like for most series). Does anyone know what that was/is? Is it applicable to 912 ULS? Where to buy?
Tom Baker
SI-912-027 If you have the NGK plugs, I would continue to run the NGK plugs instead of switching.
Roger Lee
The new Rotax plugs are just Bosch plugs. The Rotax plugs are $32+ and climbing. I buy 100 NGK plugs at a time and pay $3.

I do want to point out that to readers of this SI: the replacement interval was increased to 400 hrs or 300 with leaded fuel operation per line maintenance manuals. The line MM assumes you are using the NEW plug style. The old NGKs really get pretty worn looking after around 200 hours so stick to that replacement schedule if you still use NGK. GlennM
For $3, you should put new ones in when you get fuel. LOL.

Would they go longer, sure, but the gap should be reset after that time.
